Deliveroo: Growth Through Data Driven Insights And Personalised Messages
Deliveroo needed to deliver incremental growth across all restaurant types and UK locations, however they were struggling to do this using their own teams or other agency partners. They sought out Epsilon to provide their partners with the tools and creative services to attract more customers. We were uniquely placed to harness Deliveroo’s in-house data to inform media-purchasing decisions and accurately measure bought-media ROI, disregarding sales that would have occurred regardless of media spend, for increased effectivity.
We used this data to create personalised campaigns targeting individual customers. This was amplified through Epsilon’s PeopleCloud media platform to identify our audience, buy media and test customer communication. This enabled Deliveroo to measure incremental growth in a cost-effective manner and allowed them to direct more budget towards revenue-growing activity.
Overall, this delivered a 3x monthly spend increase, a 70% over incremental return target and a 78% Reach of customer base.
