Campaign Overview

In their lifetime, the average Brit will spend £10,044 on a supermarket meal deal. But what the average Brit doesn’t know is that the meal deal is a scam. Because a bad sandwich and cheap crisps is not a meal. Not to look at, not to eat, not even legally. And if it’s not a meal it can’t be a deal.

So to launch Taco Bell’s rival lunch deal. We went to war. Taking down supermarkets and ‘Big Sandwich’ by hijacking Google maps and placing our ads in their windows. Our social, PR and OOH campaign made big noise with the public, with protestors submitting “the meal deal reform act” to demand the government to make meal deals more substantial.
