Publicis Groupe UK acquires Fabric Social to create powerhouse PR, social and influencer offering
- April 22, 2026
Publicis Groupe UK today announces the acquisition of Fabric Social. The move is designed to deliver best-in-class specialist expertise across PR, social and influencer for clients.
Fabric Social has consistently dominated the market, evidenced by their track record of wins, including being named Best Large Agency at the Global Social Media Award and joint top performing social media agency by The Drum.
Fabric Social will act as a Power of One social capability within Publicis Groupe UK and operate as a standalone business.
Founded in 2021 by Niall McGarry, Fabric Social has established itself as a leader in the social-first landscape, helping brands connect meaningfully with audiences through culture-led, creator-driven content. The agency has grown rapidly to a team of over 110 people and works with a range of leading global brands, delivering high-impact work across all platforms including TikTok and Instagram.
Niall McGarry, founder, Fabric Social, said: “Fabric Social was built to help brands show up meaningfully in culture and build genuine communities through social. We’ve always believed that social sits at the centre of modern marketing. Joining Publicis Groupe UK allows us to continue that journey at greater scale, combining our specialist expertise with broader integrated capabilities, while staying true to what makes Fabric distinctive.”
“Welcoming Fabric Social, the UK’s leading social agency, into Publicis Groupe signals our continued investment to build best in class capabilities across PR, social and influencer marketing.” said Rebecca Grant, UK CEO and chief client officer, EMEA, PSI Practice, Publicis Groupe UK. “It supercharges our ability to radically scale ideas, deliver unrivalled cultural cut-through and drive business impact for clients.”
Fabric Social will join the PR, social and influence (PSI) practice, formerly the Influence practice, alongside MSL, Taylor Herring, and Publicis Sports & Entertainment.
McGarry will join the leadership board of the PSI practice, led by Grant.
